Application of FireOut to the plywood deck for a Class A fire rating.
Install 2 plies GAF GAFGLASS #75 base sheet tin-capped to Miami-Dade Code.
Install 1 ply GAF Ruberoid Torch Smooth
Install 2 scuppers w/back-up,1 ply GAF Ruberoid Torch Granule, stucco-stop & stucco. Done. www.roofermikeinc/re-roofs&repairs

It’s so nice to have this cost-effective and lightweight GAF Ruberoid Torch System. This will fit the new house that my colleague is starting to build now. This system that guarantees availability for more than 10 years makes me say that it is actually durable and wise to use.

I’ve learned of this GAF Ruberoid Torch System when my husband and I were staying at my mother-in-law’s home. My hubby and his brother installed it on the flat roof. Though it took a lot of time, it was worth it. They say it can last for up to 15 years, and it offers supreme roof protection. I did some research on it and found out that it’s great for roofing repairs.
We swear by Ruberoid for new flat roof and repair applications. Very tough, stands up to the harsh Miami climate.
With those characteristic you’ve mentioned here about GAF Ruberoid Torch System, I’m thinking if this would best fit in roofing my garden house. I also heard from a friend that this type of roofing material is very resilient. Anyway, your sports bar roof looks amazing! Good job! +Ashlee Starns
Thank you Ashlee, Ruberoid is a great material for residential roofing but is only as good as the installer as it is also very unforgiving when improperly applied.
If maintained with a timely elastomeric roof coating maintenance application a Ruberoid roof will last much longer than 15 years.
No thanks. EPDM is cheaper and easier but that's not the driving force behind my installations.
A flat roof is a nice choice for homes, but it will require very specific maintenance. A home with a typical roof pitch uses a combination of shingles and gravity to keep moisture from entering the home. Thanks for sharing pics and installation.

With 2 plies of Ruberoid this roof, even in Miami, will last at least 20 years and with proper maintenance will last 30 years or longer.
